Kanji was very interesting.

Kyle from Fall 2017

Which events or activities did you find the most satisfying and why?

Visiting Hakone on the overnight trip. It was a change of pace from the city.

What were the most productive and interesting aspects of the program for you? The least interesting and productive?

To me, the most interesting part of the program was the Kanji. I honestly loved every part of the program, so nothing was less interesting or productive.

What did you find most valuable in the Culture Course?

Learning things about Japan besides just the language; culture, history, life.

Were you pleased with the general living arrangements? Anything you especially liked? Any problems you experienced?

I was very pleased. It was a convenient location in the city, I loved having my own bathroom, I loved being able to live by myself. I had no problems.

If you are looking to study Japanese in Japan, I highly recommend KCP International. For starters, it’s in Tokyo! (And who doesn’t want to be in Tokyo?) KCP is in an extremely convenient location and using public transportation you can pretty much get around anywhere.
