Excursions to places of cultural significance and beauty. I do enjoy experiencing and learning about the culture. I feel it helps me with understanding the language as well.
What activities or materials did you find most helpful (e.g., pair work, drill practice, tests, small group sessions, textbooks, games)?
Games and group sessions but thats just me.
Any suggestions for improving class activities or materials?
I would like to understand why some parts of the language are they we they are.
What did you find most valuable in the Culture Course?
I'd say both parts of the culture course are equally valuable. Learning about history and seeing it in person are essential to understanding it.
Any comments or tips for prospective/new KCP students?
The program is pretty intensive but don't lose hope.
